Technoon - dance away your Sunday afternoon

Italian Giuseppe Tillieci has had one of the most productive years of his busy career. Someone who pays close attention to the technical aspect of sound whether crafting in the studio, DJing or playing live around the world, he has been hugely in demand by many great labels. It’s all because his output fuses rhythm and texture with techno and ambience in hugely captivating ways, whilst Neel is also an expert technician who masters releases in his studio for a range of influential labels. His attention to detail, then, is meticulous.

Of course, Neel’s most recent project has been his excellent debut LP, Phobos, on the Spectrum Spools label. Full of intricate, seductive ambient drones, Resident Advisor call it "expert", Juno call it an "organic exploration" and Boomkat and the Italian Soundwall are also big fans. Someone able to make music that is as deep and obscure as it is fluid and rhythmic, Neel also performs in three different ways in clubs around the world: as a DJ, live specialist and in collaboration as Voices from the Lake.

Although recently his studio time has taken up much of his life, as a DJ he is increasingly respected for his seductive, cerebral techno sets around the world, but is also loved for his mesmerising AV shows with the help of a mysterious visual artist, Yko, and his own modular synth system. These mind and body altering shows have taken place at Mutek and Berlin Atonal and make the fascinating story of Phobos really come alive before your very eyes, whilst his Voices From the Lake shows - and the recorded material he releases as part of that essential duo with fellow Italian Donato Dozzy - are just as masterfully crafted.

Neel, then, is a true modern day techno craftsman who can do surreal and unusual things with sound in truly unique ways. This will be confirmed once again in 2015 when he steps up with new releases on Bunker NY and Spectrum Spools.

When it comes down to combining the best of many musical worlds, Peter Van Hoesen can say he's been doing it for a while now.

Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, he's considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin' techno to advanced abstract electronica.

His tracks and remixes have been released on his own labels Time To Express and Foton as well as through Meakusma, Ostgut Ton, CLR, Hotflush, Exone, Token, Komisch, Lan Muzic, Curle and many more. He's active as a DJ, producer, sound designer and composer for contemporary dance and theatre. Peter currently lives in Berlin.

A. Brehme is a DJ and producer who is born and raised in Brussels.

An audiophile with a worrying obsession about music who tries to channel his personal experiences from underground clubs and coverting them to an unconventional and undefined sound on the dancefloor...

While continuously exploring the range of differed electronic music genres, at the age of twenty he earned a spot on the line-up at one of Europe's most renowned techno-clubs, Fuse.

He creates a unique tension between hypnotically deep atmospheres and capricious grooves leading to psychedelic sets adapted to space and time. With his entry into sound design and day in day out dedication, Brehme won't appear unnoticed in the future.
